Operation Snowball

On Jan 30th we will be attending Operation Snowball at Yoho Scout Reserve. This is an afternoon of fun for Cubs and Beavers from all over the Rivorton area. The cost is 5$ per child. The bus will leave the church for those who need it. If you can drop your child off at yoho that would be greatly appreciated as we only have 20 seats on the bus. The fun begins at 1pm and goes until 5pm.....it is round robin so everyone tries out a different game every 20mins or so...please arrive at Yoho early to park and register.

Hope to see you there

Deputy Area Commissioner Visit

D.A. Neville will be visiting our Scout Troop on Tuesday Evening. D.A. is the Deputy area Commissioner for Scouting. He is coming to visit to assist us in expanding our Scout program and activities to assure we have a viable active program for next year. We will have a lot of Cubs coming into our Scouting program in the next few years and we want to be ready for them. Anyone interested in helping in the fall as a leader is asked to call Cameron or Peter so we can start you on the process to becoming a Scout leader.
