Camp Clean Up

We are planning to have a workday at Ray Bailey's Camp called the Stumble-inn on the 13th of November,a Saturday. Ray has been kind enough to allow us the use of his camp in the Noonan area for the Scouts and Cubs. We are going to do a good turn for him by going out and doing some general tidying and tree removal on the 13th. I am asking the leaders and our Scouts to try to attend that day....more to follow as we organize it. We intend to camp out there the 3rd to the 5th of December for Scouts.

Fall Camp Fun!!

We all had a wonderful time at Fall Camp. Sing-alongs, skill building and canoe training. Everyone had a great time at the investiture ceremony Friday night and a special thanks to our special guest Pat!! The Cubs and Scouts had a great time at the beach Saturday night with glowsticks and a firework show (unfortunately due to rain we couldn't do them Friday night for the Beaver Scouts) Next year.....Thanks to all the Leaders and parents that made this a wonderful time for the kids!!

Fall Camp Yoho Scout Reserve

The fall camp at Yoho Lake for all sections, Cubs, Scouts and Beavers is coming up fast. We start the 15th of October at 6pm at Yoho Scout reserve. Investiture of all new members is to be at the campfire that evening. Beavers stay until noon on Saturday and Cubs and Scouts will be at Yoho until around noon on Sunday the 17th. We will be sending out a kit list for those attending and also a timetable of events and games. So far we will have archery and canoeing as well as a lot of fun group activities. A reminder that Beavers must bring a responsible adult with them. Older Sibling (14 plus) Parent or Guardian.

This is our BIG fall camp please try to make plans to attend as the groups get to really know each other and learn to grow as a section at these events.

Please inform your section leader by next Tuesday if attending so we can purchase the food and snacks. Parent Guardian attendees will be asked for $5 to cover their food costs. Transportation is your responsibility to and from as we don't have a bus for that weekend. If you cant get a lift ask around other parents and leaders may be able to offer a ride.
