So far this year we have sold $9400.00 in popcorn. Great job everyone!!

Popcorn Sale

Tuesday night we kick off our annual Popcorn sale. Last year we sold over $12,000 in Popcorn and it paid for all our trips and fun activities.....Please help your child get out in uniform and lets see if we can be number 2 in the province again this year!!!

Tuesday the 20th of September

All sections will be cancelled on the 20th of September as AGMS has a meet the teacher night that evening. In past years attendence at Scoutning has been low during that evening.

Registration for Fall

Registration for all sections, Venturers, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers will be held September the 6th from 6 to 7pm. Regular meetings will begin the following Tuesday at the usual times. Please contact me if you wish to become a leader as we are short of Beaver leaders at this time. All returning leaders are asked to delare there intention to continue this fall with an email to me. Lets get ready for an exciting new year!!!! New uniforms will be available at the Scout Shops around the 10th of September, old uniforms stay in use for the next 3 years. Registration cost for this year is; 1st Youth $145.00 2nd Youth $115.00 3rd Youth $65.00 4th Youth No Charge

Thank you to everyone for a great year at 1st Marysville. A huge thank you to all our leaders, parents and helpers. Lets do it all again next year!
Don't forget our upcoming camps at Fundy for the top Cubs and the canoe camp at Maguadavic lake for the Scouts this June.

Scout Supper

Our annual Scout Supper is on May 31st at 6:15pm. All Beavers, Cubs and Scouts/Venturers and family are welcome to attend. Whitetails will be swum up to Cubs at this time. Also a few awards and certificates will be handed out. Please plan to attend our year end dinner.

The Daily Gleaner/James West Photo. Xavier Wambolt, 14, with the 1st Marysville Scouts Group builds a brush shack as part of Pioneer Camp held in Marysville. The camp is an annual event put on by the local Scout groups to teach them how to build a camp the old-fashioned way.

Pioneering Camp

Thanks to 3rd Fredericton and 1st New Maryland for joining us this weekend at camp! Everyone had a blast and the trolley ride was a huge hit....amazing what a group of kids and some rope can do!!

Pioneering Camp

Dont forget the upcoming Pioneering camp May 13-15th at the church. It will be a greta experience for our Whitetails and Cubs as ell as Scout and Venturers. Hope to see you there!!

Annual Food Drive

This week is the Scouting annual food drive. Beavers are asked to bring a small bag of non perishable foodstuffs on Tuesday night. Cubs and Scouts and Venturers are asked to meet at the church with a driver to canvas the Marysville area in Uniform on this coming Saturday at 9am to 11:30am.

THE SNOWSHOE HIKE

The weather was amazing today....cold when we left the church and +1 by the time we were settled in at the camp. Great campfire and lunch and a lot of fun in the snow by the Cubs and the Venturer helpers. Thanks to Scouter Maria (aka Scouter Mom) for all her help today!!

Cub outing this weekend!!

Cubs and parents are meeting at the Church at 10:30am to travel out to the Stumble-inn. It is approx 10mins out the Richibucto rd. Snowshoeing, campfire and fun for all!! Pickup is at the camp at 4pm sharp. See you there!!

Operation Snowball

This Saturday from 12:30pm til 4:30pm ....fun for all Beavers and Cubs. Over 200 children will be in attendance. Lots of fun round robin games....

Yoho Winter Camp Jan 2011

What a wonderful time we had!! The weather was perfect and the snow was fast!! Thanks to everyone who came and all the Leaders and Parents that helped out. Have a look at the pictures and the videos online!!

Christmas Tree Pickup

Scouts are required to attend this Saturday for the annual Christmas Tree Pickup. We meet at the Nashwaaksis United Church on Main St at 9am and then head out to collect the trees from our area list. This is a prerequisite to attend the January camp for our Scout aged boys and girls. The Scouts will be assisting our drivers to collect trees and also accept donations for the service. Please wear appropriate clothing with gloves.
